Baptism
Baptism is for an individual who has accepted the atoning work of Christ and is committed to becoming His disciple. In obedience to Christ’s command and as a public testimony of faith, a believer should be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Water baptism is a symbol of a person’s union with Christ in the likeness of His death and resurrection. It signifies that a former way of life has been put to death and depicts freedom from the bondage of sin. At Summit Crossing we practice and teach believer’s baptism.
We have baptisms at our Celebration Services, which take place regularly throughout the year.
